Simon Uzunovski although with no formal education as a visual artist, (he studied Architecture and history of art) was known as the painter of Capri.

For a period of three decades he occupied one of the most frequented spots of the island where his communication and cultural exchange with the thousands of visitors were the main concept of the work.
